i think gears 2 rivals MGS4 in its visuals, but nothing on consoles rivals Killzone 2, it surpasses MGS4, Gears 2 and Fable 2 (i dunno why im even mentioning fable 2 since it isnt even in the same league as MGS4, Gears 2 and Killzone 2). everything from the textures to the lighting and animations look much better in Killzone 2.idontbeliveit

Also they have vastly bigger and more varied and detailed/filled with stuff worlds

In fact MGS4 and KZ2 have some fo the most limited graphics this generation, since the levels are tiny and everything feels barren and empty inside them

So, the real question is if PS3 devleopers will ever be able to create such huge, detailed and next gen looking game worlds like those only 360 gets
