[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="Diviniuz"] Probably the worst line in Fallout 3 or maybe I just listened to it so much that it just annoying for me.GodofBigMacs
I just wanted to get a combo breaker. Both speeches or whatever are kinda lame. No, The War has Changed one is actually great, especially with the commotion going on in the background, with your fellow militiamen getting shot down by PMC's like it's a cakewalk, just exemplifying how his speech is actually true. It greatly paints a picture of how nanotechnology has transformed our society, and was a perfect intro.
Anyway, I wrote down the speech after analyzing it on Youtube *ahem*

War... has changed...
It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity.
It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries, and machines.
War... and its consumption of life... has become a well-oiled machine...
War has changed...
ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear...
Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities.
Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control.
Everything is monitored, and kept under control.
War... has changed...
The age of deterrance... has become the age of control...
All in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction.
And he, who controls the battlefield, controls history.
War... has changed...
When the battlefield is under total control...
War... becomes routine...
Gah! Must .... say... epic line... in order ... to continue!
What's it going to be? Loyalty to your country, or loyalty to yourself? Your country, or your old mentor? The mission, or your beliefs? Your duty to your unit, or your personal feelings? Look at how much you've lost already! What kind of country deserves this much loyalty, Snake?
One of my all-time favorite MGS lines. Ready to quit? :D
