seems a good way to go about it. I tried many different cloud gaming options and they all still do NOT really work. tearing, con loss, heavy lag with all of them no matter what line you are on. I do not expect Stadia or XCloud to be different. The connection technology throughout our planet is just not advanced enough and it won't be in MANY places for a long time. If you want to play a game in a not entirely frustrating way you need to have the hardware to run it. cloud streaming as a second choice seems smart. And yet I am sure this too will vanish again. The networks are neither fast nor responsive nor stable enough. And new big players in the field do not build new world wide connection lines. Could be with glass fibre and 5G Cloud Gaming will work, but only in major cities, forget your road trip or holidays combined with cloud gaming. Nintendo with its Switch did a step in the right direction. Spencer with Cross-Platform looks ahead. The best thing would be to end the rivalery and combine sources - Microsoft, Nintendo, Playstation, ... For the players (and not for the locked up market) !

Wow. Even watching the video bored me out after 20 seconds. Why would anyone even consider to play this with thousands of good games and indie-games out there?

The game just came onto my radar a short while before the release now. What a pitty! How can all the treasure that you find be merely cosmetic? It definitly kills the motivation to keep playing or even buying the game in the first place. How could they give this chance away like this? I mean its ubvious how amazing it could be and rather simply so... ship upgrades, better weapons, variety of weapons build your own customized weapons, tools that simplify treasure hunting, sea battles or navigation. I could just go on, fresh from the mind and spit out 40 amazing things to be found in tresaury or bought by gold. The motivation and joy it would generate is unstoppable. Especially since IT IS ALL THERE, a very solid well done basic system. Seriously, I do not understand. One can only hope they come up with massive updates.

Not much coverage on the best BG follow up RPG comming out here - eh? Pillars of Eternity II - Deadfire 's realease date just got moved back for about a month to about 10th May 2018. And - good news - the release on consoles "later this year" is a thing, it WILL happen. Rejoice. Just what can we do to make them support keyboard and mouse on consoles? What in Eothas' name can we do?

Very much agreed with most that has been said here. Nice review thanks. However I do not look at the difficulties as unfair or inbalanced. It' just that we are all so spoiled by all those far to easy and unrealiatic combats in almost every other rpg or action rpg. This game does NOT hold your hand. And yes lockpicking or attempting to do other complicated things in early game fail heavily and merciless. I even caught myself at complaining - just admit afterwards that most of what I failed in was justified. There is some getting used to this. Best is to perceive the game as VERY realistic and that there is A LOT that you should NOT do in the beginning. Because you are not a super hero in this game. Unlike in every other game out there. I give top points for almost everything. Though I do adjust that score downwards significantly for all the bugs - often breaking this games strength - it's realism. However, hat off to what the developers attempt here. This is rare.

Skyrim! Let's see if those bastards have been bluffing or not! And let's see if it is as awesome as I think it could be. AND let's see if that awesomeness is not killed by only being able to play children games - as always with Nintendo. Have they finally grown up? Can we expect dark shocking and interesting games finally? Or just more hoppy whoppy cuty bubbling Mario stuff?
