@rawkstar007 @nsa4live Yeah. They have been screwing over people outside Japan since Day 1. I remember reading about what they did with the NES in the dark days of Nintendo. Pretty shady practices back then were used to drive demand for the console.
@tom2750 @matthewkenealy @pushpoploc Depends what you define as good. The games offered were old. But they were also a reaction to people having their bank details stolen.
@rawkstar007 If anyone thinks that big companies care about anything besides money they are wrong. Better to not care about the companies and instead choose what you think is better. Not what fanboys or Sony or Microsoft say. But instead what they offer.
@keichimorisato9 @matthewkenealy @croxus True, but a free game is a free game. You've got to start somewhere, PS+ wasn't always the great service it is today.
@curiousarman @matthewkenealy @pushpoploc But that is where people keep getting the two mixed up. They AREN'T the same service. One was originally designed as a service for renting games and the other was for paid multiplayer. Now, both services do what the other does. I don't think anyone could argue that Xbox has a better offering, however, when compared to what PS+ started with it doesn't look so bad.
@croxus Why not just enjoy the games? They are old yes but they are still a bit of fun. I play on PC, Xbox 360 and Wii so I like to try it all out. Games with Gold isn't great at the moment but the offerings will improve over time.
@pushpoploc Sadly, the fanboys won't see it the same way. Why can't we just celebrate that we are getting free games? I mean, when did we become so entitled that because a game is old it is unfair for it to be free?
