Ok so i am planning on buying FF13 very soon. It made reminisce on my FF playing history. I barely played 9. I own FFX, 7, 12, and FF3(On DS). I absolutley loved FFX. It is the one that got me into Final fantasy. I loved everything about it. Great controls, battle system, and story/Characters.

I kno that many hail FF7 as the greatest in the series and one of the best RPGs all time. Well im not tryin to dipute that, but the fact is, I aint beat it yet. I got stuck on the 2nd disc where there is a lot of snow. Then theres FF3 for DS....its hard as hell, i dont like it at all. The only thing i do like is the graphics. FF12 is a weird one. Its a good game. The battle system is engaging and innovative. However the story is so boring, most of the characteres so uninteresting. Besides all this its hard as hell.

I am hoping FF13 will be redeem Final Fantasy. I dont think it will be as good as X, but at least it looks like it has a soul. WHen i beat it ima be 2/5 in FF games that i OWN. Peace.

Sorry i've been neglecting the site, i been busy with school. I already preordered God of War 3, so I look forward to that one. I recently bought Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I also bought lord of the rings for only 20 dollars. LOTR aint much but its fun if u ask me.....well tell me wats been up guys? Wat games have u been playing?

Also the GS awards maked me want to throw up! They sucked major booty. I mean, Demon Souls game of the year? EPIC FAIL.....

Ok as much as i loved transformers 2, i gotta say avatar was the best movie this year. It was amazing. Star trek was a close close third....Yo i gotta say that Gi JOE was lame, and Terminator salvation didnt live up the hype, but Terminator wasnt bad though.

Ok i watched all the GS award videos up to 12/23. I am pretty impressed with the award winners. But again i neva heard of a large amount of the games, and i consider myself pretty up to date wit the video game world.

I love that killzone 2 won basically everything it has been nominated for. Before u haters growl and cuss out this site, consider that KZ2 only had one thing wrong with it...lack of offline multiplayer. Yea i have it, and its a tough, intesne, and beautiful game! Modern Warfare 2 is also great but i doubt it will win anything, since its a lil outclassed. Although i do think CoD shoulda won something. Now back to KZ2, Gamespot did it disjustice. KZ2 is easily deservesa 9.5 rating....GS is way too stingy wit Review scores!!! GTA isnt a 10 by any stretch of the imagination. And Tekken 6 is a 9.0, and Uncharted 2 is a 10 for cryin out loud!

Ok i thought Tekken 6 deserved best fighter. It has better online than SFIV, and more balanced fighters.

Anyway my prediction is that Uncharted2 will win Game of the Year. If it dont, GS is dead wrong! ANd has anybody played this "Ratchet and Clank"? I havent but i doubt its better than that New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I could be wrong though

As you guys kno i upgraded to PS3(from Ps2) in Late december 2008. I started out with MGS4 and NBA2k9...

SInce then i went on to buy 9 more games! Sounds like a video game renaissance to me lol. The most recent game i Bought for PS3 was Uncharted 2, and man its amazing...easily the 2nd best ps3 game....Of course i wish i had never bought GTA4, the game is lame...its a direct step backwards from GTA SAnandreas. I see now that Gamespot was caught up in the hype when they gave it a 10.

Ok some games i want for PS3 now are Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Call of Duty MW2. U notice that all 3 of the games i want have one thinig in common....can u tell me what that is? LOL

Well as u guys kno i am a junior in college. I am taking my finals this week. So wish me luck

I have already taken 2/4...and i'm feelin good so far!

1. Robotech invasion- This is a PS2 game, yet it plays and feels like a N64 game! Yea this game feautures an incredible amount of bullcrappery. I did beat it unlike the other 4 games on this list....

2. Final Fantasy 3- This game is so hard it borders on unplayable. U got 4 characters..and u fight a boss that can kill your guys in one hit...if u kno how to beat it please let me know, i seriously wish i had never bought this.

3. Dragon Ball Z Sagas- A good attempt to cash in on DBZ's success. This game had huge potential but it sucked major booty. I rented it, but i couldnt beat it since it got very lame.

4.Zelda Phantom Hourglass- Ok i love Zelda games, and for the most part i love this game. But if you've played more than 5 mins of it you'll no that the Temple of the Ocean king is a deal breaker. Sure it starts out kinda easy, but later on it gets insanley hard, to the point where I gaave up on the game....

5. Final Fantasy XII- A game with an incredible amount of potential...Its adecent game, but its way too hard, way too uninteresting in the middle of the game. I was hoping it would be at leastAS good as FFX, but naw, not even close.

15) Advance Wars 2- A brilliant strategy game, i was hooked on this game for a long time back when i first got it in 2003.I never played the first one but this game made me an Advance Wars fan.

14) Metal Gear Solid 4- this may be the best PS3 to date even now. The game actually has you watch more than you play. However that isnt much of a complaint. The multiplayer is kinda lame, but the single player is one of the best experiences you'll have in gaming.

13) Zelda Link to the Past- A legendary adventure, that gets pretty tough late in the game. The puzzles are great, as are the items/weapons. Its just a classic.

12) Tekken 5- A great fighting game, and my only one for the PS3. I have beaten the game with almost all the characters but i havent beaten that Jin single player game since i got lost in one of the stages lol.

11) WWF No Mercy- Back when i was actually into wrestling this was a game of games. I loved creating my own characters. The fighting system is somewhat complicated but the game itself is a lot of fun.

10) Pokemon Yellow- I remember when i was a pokemaniac. Yellow isnt the best one, but its my favorite. Having pikachu with you is great fun. I never did catch them all, i'm more about becoming the very best!

9) Star Wars Battle Front 2- A terrific shooting game, and i am a big star wars fan. its superior to the first game in just about every way.

8) Super Mario 64- A game that changed the industry, SM64 is the reason i got a 64, and its a game with a perfect difficulty setting. Yes i got all the stars.

7) Goldenye 007- The game that changed the fps game category, and one of my favorites. Geye has style, and the multiplayer is so much fun.

6) God Of War 2- If there were a top 20, GoW1 would be on the list. I feel the sequel is a lot better. It has better controls and more boss fights. Not to mention, great graphics. I can't wait for part 3.

5) Star Fox 64- A truly inspirational game, that plays like an action movie. It's so much fun. The single player is the real star here. To this day i have notbeaten it on Expert Mode...and i was pretty good at the game!

4) Mario Kart DS- I didnt think MK64 could be topped, until i got this. Its just better.....if u have a DS u need this game.

3) Final Fantasy X- A game with a tremendous storyline that set the bar for the RPGs that came after it. I remember playin this game like all day back in 2002....once i got past a particualry toughboss. Its the game that made me a FF fan.

2) Super Smash Bros- This is the game that started it all, and gave birth to Mellee and Brawl. I love this game, it's a simple fighter, with a lot of depth and madness.

1) Zelda Ocarina of Time- Pound for pound i think this is thebest game ever made. If u look at its time and wat it was then, and how good the story, gameplay, and music is....its just an incredible experience. I beat it like 8 times, and i did so the last time without dying once.

Ok, the purpose of this blog is the way i feel about genres of games, not neccesarily the way the entire industry is.

This year i have absolutley fallen in love with fighting games. I did play the first Super Smash bros and Tekken, but that was all i'd play before this year. Now i play Street Fighter 2, SFIV, and Tekken 6. I've got my skillz up too. Then theres the first person shooting games. I've always been a fan of those, but I havent had a REAL one until this year. Yea i love playin Resistance 1 & 2, and Killzone 2. It seems to me that these 2 genres are thriving.

OF course RPGs seem to be struggling. I just havent played a good one in a minute. NO i have not played Fallout 3 but i want it. I guess we're all waiting for FF13 to come out....cause most of these out now i just aint feelin or buyin, ya digg. Not to diss a game like Demon Souls but i aint buyin an instant death RPG lol.

Just puttin out my thoughts mane. Yall gonna hail as the greatest blogger of the 21st century, ha ha just joking.8)
