I do. I didn't drop £2500 on a TV for streaming quality. 4K Blu-Ray disc is a different beast altogether than 4K streaming for both audio and visuals and that's coming from someone on 200mb broadband.
Not to mention the fact that less than 5% of mainstream 4K content is available for streaming on Netflix.
It isn't good enough and its just more of the same from Sony. The last 2 E3 events have been nothing but promises of what might one day be. Look at GTSport over the last week. What a joke. I can't wait for that game but waiting is all we have. I cant remember the last time Sony gave us something that didn't feel somehow rushed or just a mirage of lies to make us all buy consoles.
If, as everyone stated last month, Microsoft damaged sales of Xbox One S by announcing Scorpio at the same event then Sony have just basically thrown the PS slim in the bin at the same event as they announced it. It's bizarre. If the Pro was double the price of the slim it would be understandable but its not that much more expensive. From a business point of view the move is madness.
The only explanation I can see is that somewhere in the development of the Slim Sony did a u-turn and changed their plans. I'd make a bet that Sony didn't want to release the Pro this year but MS forced Sony's hand with the Xbox One S. Sony saw that and knew the Slim wasn't even a close competitor for it and had to get something else out this year.
May I ask, after you visited the 2nd retailer and saw they have exactly the same stock as the 1st retailer (games and consoles) what was it drove you forward to another 18?
He's a smart man. Concentrating on the Xbox Live user-base rather than the purchases of the consoles will reap huge rewards as soon as a few big titles hit the Xbox Live app on PC.
Steam alone has 150,000,000 gamers on Windows machines. That's 150,000,000 GAMERS whom are 1 or 2 clicks away from buying whatever MS release on Xbox Live. Today there are 48,000,000 active Xbox Live users on consoles alone. When the floodgates open and Horizon 3, Halo Wars, Gears 4 etc etc etc hit PC that number will sky-rocket. I wouldn't be suprised if the Xbox Live user base clears 100,000,000 in a mere matter of months.
Figures like that make all the difference when it comes to exclusivity deals.
