It's funny how people have different preferances, I personally love the PS3 controller and think the 360 controller feels weird. I find that my thumb slips off the 360 stick a lot. I think I will stick with the Dualshock 3 or Sixaxis for now.

That sucks dude, you just need to get it fixed, send it in to Sony, if they can't fix it you might just have to buy another one.

I have looked and Shenmue cost closer to $70 million to make. Remember that cost includes the entire cost of the game, not just cost for the developer. And with cost involved, on average, a developer makes about $1 PROFIT per game sold. That is profit, not revenue. The developer makes $59.99 for every game sold, unless the retailer drops the price. This of course is split up between the retailer, Hardware (Sony M$), marketing, etc. Other than royalties, these are all fixed costs, meaning once they are covered then that person does not make any more even if the game does keep selling. Of course this is based on a target number of sales (remember MGS saying to break even they would need 1 million sales?) and that can vary, I'm guessing break even for KZ was half to three quarters of a mil. So after that target, the $1 profit per game goes up to around $30-$35 per copy sold because the fixed costs are then taken care of. So if KZ2 sells 3 mil as a low ball figure over it's lifetime as a full priced game, we are looking at close to $70 million profit, not revenue. ($750,000 for the target sales, then $30 per copy afterwards, [2.25 mil * $30]+ $750,000)

That is kinda silly, the two games don't even compare. Killzone 2 is a FPS while RE5 tries to blend action and horror, notice how I said "tries". RE5 is a fun game but is not as good as Dead SpaceIMO, while KZ2 is one if not the best FPS I have played, ever.

Yeah I have a 60Gb and the only thing I ever experience is the occasional freeze-up. Like once a week my system will freeze, and I play about 2hrs. a day.

Mine was $500 when the 60GB dropped in price. Also picked up Assassin's creed as my first game.

Yeah from what I have read we should have the ability to add two or more add-ons for our gun (like a grenade launcher and red dot sight and silencer). A way to make it balanced is it has to be a perk or an experience based thing . Yeah definitely get rid of some of the stupid perks. Who else used anything but stopping power, deep impact and one of the catergory one perks? The only other perk I would ever use was extreme conditioning if I was using a shotgun or SMG. Yeah KZ2 has some good perks, but I agree with the guy that said we need more options and customization. It would be really cool if we could actually choose what our guy wore, and we could sacrifice speed for armor or vice versa.
