this is kinda a response to someone who asked why he lost 2GB on his HD for no apparent reason, well it is because vista has space allocated on the HD for shadow storage (15% is usually its max) here is how you can reduce the max size of it, but remember that by doing this, you will wipe out all shadows.

go to command prompt, right click, and select run as admin. then type in "vssadmin list shadowstorage" - this will tell you how much space has been allocated for shadow storage

to change it type in vssadmin resize shadowstorage /For=C: /On=C: /Maxsize=you desired max size

you can replace "C" with whatever drive you want.

just thought i post this for those of you who didn't know about it. i saved 35GB on my HD by resizing

[QUOTE="mckumar11"]read the reviews for it on dell.com, some people complain about the response and some even mention ghosting on it.domke13

Averrage customer rating on dell.com is 4.7 out of 5, so i think that it should be a good monitor. And here we are not talking about 2 reviews, but 117 reviews. SO i dont think that this monitor is bad.

i understand that reviews are good. but most people on the site probally wrote their review shortly after the purchase, they probally did not get a chance to really push the monitor to see how well it performs under serious  gaming. plus we know it has a 16ms response, and finally, for that price you can get a better deal. that is why i dont think he should go for the 2007

the E6600 will be plenty. i dont think you need 4 cores. i have the E6400 and i have no limitations with it. and i dont know of any compatability issues.
