I was just thinking the other day about the FPS so far on the Wii. None of them are spectacular in any sense, but they all have things about them which make for a perfect control scheme. Once a developer learns how to take all of the good aspects from each of the games out so far, we'll have a perfect control scheme.
Personally, I think that COD 3, with some slight sensitivity adjustments had the aiming controls. Red steel had the best grenade throwing system while Far Cry handled the melee attacks. The most responsive reload IMO was in Godfather. If a dev was to take all of these aspects and combine them, I think we'd have a standard control scheme.
Combine the control scheme with a decent storyline and decent graphics and we've got one insane shooter.
I don't see you numbering anything. Until you do, please have the common courtesy to think about what your posting before you do so people don't have to tell you you're an idiot. Thanks
Dude... it launched five months ago. It takes more than that to make a game. Seriously, everyone should just chill and be a little more patient. Developers will become more accustomed to the hardware, and sooner or later we will see some insane games. Just give it time.
