Another Part to my Fatal Frame Mission

I have been such a chicken lately, i've been progressively reading through the fatal frame walk throughs and as i am growing closer to the end of night two: Demon tag the ghosts just seem to be getting worse.

I decided to play fatal frame last night and of course by reading the walk throughs i know exactly whats coming which i think is a good think otherwise i would have had a heart attack long ago. Anyways as i progressed last night i discovered that i have two boss battles coming up and two battles with blinded, one boss being yae the folklorists wife and then the folklorist himself, now as i have found out yae commited suicide by hanging herself so obviously she has something to be revengeful for so i prepared myself for a big battle of many deaths and lots of frustration but as it turned out i only died once and she was easier to kill than that damn blinded woman.

Now my first battle with blinded last night was actually really easy im just guessing but the more you upgrade your camera the easy it gets to kill ghosts but anyway i also had a certain amount of space which they say doesnt matter cause you shouldnt move when battling blinded but they lie so i would rather move cause that way she doesnt get me. Well as i battled blinded number one and boss number one for this leg of my journey i made it to the hidden pass which you needed to unlock some draw in the doll room to recieve the angry mask so you could open the hidden pass door, but as you read in one the folklorist journals you need a number of different masks to open certain doors in the hidden pass which you will find in the mask room, this room contains another battle with blinded

So as i make my way through the day so i can play tonight i look forward to my second last battle with blinded and then one battle with the folklorist himself. So until next time Enjoy :D

Flavour of the week

I decided to give my playstation 2 a rest this weekend because i couldn't bring my nerves around to playing fatal frame so i opted to play the sims 2 on my PC rather. I know you can play the sims 2 on PS2 apparently but to be honest i would rather sit in front of a PC and play a game like that. Anyway everytime i play the sims 2 i always try and remind myself that with any major progress in the game you should save but more than often i always forget, but i learnt my lesson yesterday. As always when i start playing the sims 2 i know i can carry on playing this game for hours so i sat down made myself comfortable and began playing, I must have been playing this game for about 2 hours and things were going really well until my trash compactor broke. Now as far as i know when your sim fixes things around the house themselves they gain mechanical points for doing it so whenever something breaks in my sims house i get my sim to fix it instead of calling the repairman so i can increase my skills.

So as i saw my trash compactor break i thought hey i've got time to fix it and i have the energy to fix it so why not but to my horror i electricuted my sim (i didnt even know you could do that) and she died that just made my day 2 hours of play lost due to the fact that i didnt save my game at intervels like you supposed to incase bad things like this happen. So whenever i decide to play that game again i will have to continue from where i last last left it way before i was electricuted.

Another Chapter for my Fatal Frame saga

Unfortunately i got home so late last night that i had to play this wonderful game at night and by the way i feel about this game i struggle to play at night cause it just adds that extra scary factor when there is no light outside. Anyways i didnt get very far last night cause i tend to be a real pansy so i decided to call it a early night and carry on in the morning.

This morning wasnt to bad i made it into the demon mouth room, found out what my next clue to the game was and carried on until i came across old 'blinded' again. I must say this ghost is becoming a real pain cant she just bug somebody else, in any case there was quite a bit of space where i had to battle her and things turned out fine and by killing her this time i actually got something i needed... matches for the candles :D been looking for these for a while too. I get so excited when i found things to use to open up new rooms, so having the matches i happily made my way back to the burial to light those damn candles so i could get the scroll i needed to move onto the doll room but as i have discovered earlier on in this game nothing comes easily cause as i turned around 'blinded' made her fourth appearance out of seven (damn three to go), now the unfortunate thing about the burial room other than its name is that this room is kinda small but as the walk throughs say dont worry remember she is blind and she wont attack you if she cant hear you, i need to phone this person and tell them they lie cause as we speak i cant seem to beat 'blinded' in this room and i landed up kiling poor Miku eight times :P but hopefully i get far enough this weekend to basically finish the game.

Fatal Frame for PS2 Part 2

As i said yesterday i would continue with my day to day journal of how i intend on finally finishing the first fatal frame. When i got home yesterday i thought it would be wise to play the game while there was still light outside cause if you ask most people playing scary games at night has a different effect on you than playing during the day. Before i even started the game i first decided to page through my notes just to see what was required for this stretch of the game and to my disappointment i discovered that i had to do battle with 'blinded' not once but twice and to make matters even worse she has more stamina than before but then i discovered she wasn't the worst thing i had to do battle with at this stage. Turns out you have to retrive a blue carving but in order to obtain it you have to battle the 'girl in well' ghost, as this battle began i decided i wasn't cut out for games like this but i puckerd up and carried on cause im dying to see what happens at the end of this game.

With the 'girl in well' ghost i defeated her without ease, it was a long battle of her teleporting and disappearing most of the time but in the end she attacked me twice but i survived to carry on. As i continued my journey i found out that my next battle was going to be with 'blinded'. Now i must be honest i panic slightly when i battle the stronger ghosts cause they have the ability to teleport, disappear and turn invisible but i have found ways to cope so far so i think i shall continue without any more hesitations hopefully. Anyways i continued from room to room til i finally came to my destination the stairway where my dear notes tell me to watch out cause 'blinded' appears on the left as you walk past the staircase. To cut a long story short i killed poor Miku twice trying to get this damn ghost but in the end i defeated her, i got to my intended destination and i used the blue carving on a door that i have been trying to open for quite a while now.

With a great feeling of accomplishment i finally entered the double doors to find a long corridor hence the name of the room is called the 'corridor'. I carried on straight down the corridor cause thats the only direction to go in to discover a vanishing ghost of Miku's brother, according to the walkthroughs you are getting very close to finding him now. If you dont know the story of fatal frame im afraid most of this wont make any sense but to give you a clue Miku's brother came into this awful mansion to find his editor that went missing and along with trying to find him, he disappeared too. As i carried on walking i came to another huge set of double doors and with this set of double doors comes another puzzle but lucky for me there are clues around to give you some idea of where to find what. But until tomorrow i shall leave it on that note.

Why i love gaming

I had the best experience on Sunday. For the last couple of weeks i've been thinking about all the old games i used to play on the very first console, games such as mario, robo cop, batman and those games that used to come out in with like 400 games on them anyway my mom was searching through some boxes and generally just cleaning up when she called me and told me that she had found my very first console and all my games what must she do with them? I was over the moon cause i mean lets face it those games are still fun, so i decided to unplug my PS2 for the afternoon and get down to some simple gaming for the fun of it. I had so much fun i landed up playing these games for about 4 hours, it was so nice to see some of those games again and to be honest i havent packed that console away yet it happily shares the shelf with my PS2.

Fatal Frame for PS2

Finally i have plucked up the courage to finish the first fatal frame. With a little help from the walkthroughs i would like to think that im finally getting somewhere. When i started reading the walkthroughs i thought that i was completely lost and that i would have to start again but as it turns out i was almost finished the first night and all i needed was a little help finding my last item. I must say having the walk throughs for this game is alot of fun since i know what to be prepared for when entering a new room or just walking around a corner cause some of the ghosts that appear are really nasty and some need to be dealt with in a certain way. Like last night i made it to the second night which is called demon tag which children play this tag game which is quite wierd and scary anyway as i was reading the walkthroughs it tells you that as soon as you exit this specific room you will face a new ghost called 'blinded' now im no rocket scientist but as i could deduct from the name this ghost was... well blind but if it wasnt for the walkthroughs i would have dealt with this ghost like i have dealt with every other ghost, take camera out click, move away from ghost, take camera out click but as for this ghost things dont quite work that way.

As i was preparing myself for the encounter with 'blinded' i decided to read further on in my notes to discover that this ghost has very keen hearing, so i thought this cant be that bad she is blind whats the worst that could happen, turns out that when you do battle with this ghost you have to stand still cause if you move she can hear your foot steps and give quite a serious attack, in anycase i did battle with this ghost and things turned out really well and the points i earned for this photo are the best points i have scored so far, unfortunatley for me this ugly ghost will rear her head another six times in the second night (lovely). So i shall carry on with fatal frame tonight and i will let you know what happens tomorrow.
