Wherein is the merit of presenting a second review? Is this written for posterity so our grandchildren have a choice of two official viewpoints? Reviews are there to impact whether you pick up a game or not. Anyone who wanted to play Bioshock Infinite has played it, or read the various opinions out there, in other words this review is of no consequence to anyone but the author. Let this sit with the fan reviews and take it off the news.

Sim City is a stubborn old love trying to get back in the picture after realising what it lost. The reluctant I will change speech accompanied by a no promises disclaimer. Forgive me if my interest is long gone.

A note about the stealth mechanics. You will discover it is easier to outrun the enemies than to tiptoe through the encounters. They generally shadow you regardless of your aptitude for being sneaky. After repeatedly bumping into these guys you will probably throw stealth to the wind.

On a positive note the camcorder is top notch. Unfortunately it's not much more than a flash light. There was an opportunity to make recording incriminating footage a dynamic part of the game, to make its use meaningful, but it wasn't really pursued. It's a decent horror game, but it is to shallow to put up on that pedestal.

The review is accurate if not generous. The game really is gradually dulled by repetition. It makes a strong impression with consistent ambience, but it is predictable in its recycled enemy models and archetypical video game scares. When the tedium sets in you will have to rely on your interest in the plot to progress ahead.

"Thank you for listening to us?" Minor game tweaks are not features to tout as major selling points. In an age where online patching is available balancing should be expected.

It is good to see the overall disapproval toward this release. Do the bare minimum and slap a generic logo over the old title, no one will be the wiser! Capcom is almost cartoonishly villainous. I can't wait for the next X-Treme Street Fighter with a backwards S so you know they're really shaking things up.

@Eboslav To To criticise a massive gaming company is cowardly? What does he owe Capcom that he would not get from any other major company? They profit from his work and pay him a salary. Allegiance is earned, not given. Capcom had opportunities to consider the welfare of their employees, unfortunately this isn't an issue to them so long as it does not reach the media. His tone might imply he is concerned with himself but this article, inadvertently or not, brings attention to the state of the company and members of staff who cannot risk being fired for speaking their mind. Him addressing the problem is a step toward Capcom rethinking their policies. Don't worry about Ono and consider the bigger picture.

Sounds like I don't want to ride a virtual bicycle in a circle.
