Teaser #1: Ch.3: Twin Fury

Naruto arrived at Saukra's tent.  Before he even thought of calling out to Sakura he practiced what to say to her.  What he didn’t know was that Sakura was listening to his.

"Ok, come on Naruto you can do this," he said.  He was nervous and didn’t know how to start.

"Naruto?" said Sakura softly.

"Sakura here me out before you say anything.  Yeah that was a good start, ok where was i, oh yeah.  Before you say anything i want you to know something," Sakura got closer to the tent's door to hear better, "I know I might be a pest sometimes & I screw up too and most of all I know I’m no Sasuke either; but I’m something more.  That sounds good, right?" Naruto said.

“Oh Naruto,” said Sakura.

“Ok where was I, oh right.  I can be a great guy sometimes.  I’ve learned to be more subtle in what I say and do.  Before you speak there’s only one thing I want to ask you.  Sakura would you consider being more that just a friend, even more so than just a girlfriend,” Naruto finished his speech.

“I had no idea you felt that way Naruto,” said Sakura quietly & blushing.

“Oh, who am I kidding?  Sakura would never want someone like me.  What was I thinking,” said Naruto to himself.  Just then Sakura came out of the tent.

“Naruto, is that you?” she said as she came out of the tent.

“Oh, hi Sakura what’cha doing?” said Naruto.

“Oh I hope she didn’t hear me,” he said in his mind.

“Did you want to tell me something?” asked Sakura.  She hoped he would be brave enough to say all that to her.

“Me, no what makes you think that?  I just came to make sure you were ok,” said Naruto avoiding the question.

“Oh,” said Sakura disappointed, “well then I’m gonna go back and rest.  I’m not feeling to well.  Goodnight.”

(Beginning of Sakura’s Theme 0:00) 

She turned around to go back in her tent.

“Come on Naruto.  What’s wrong with me?  Why can’t I tell her,” said Naruto in his mind.

“Wait Sakura, there is something I want to say to you,” said Naruto.

Sakura stopped and turned back around.

“What is it you wanted to say?” she asked him.

“Well you see um, damn how did it go.  You see Sakura, I’m no Sasuke & I know that but I am me.  And,” he paused, “I’m not afraid to be who I am.  I know I can be a pest & say the wrong things at times; but I have learned to be a lot more subtle.  This isn’t making any sense to you, is it?”

“I disagree Naruto, it makes perfect sense.  I know you can be a great guy when the time is right,” said Sakura smiling.

“There’s just one more thing I want to say & ask you Sakura,” he said looking down.

“What is it Naruto?” asked Sakura. 

“I want to protect you with my life, for the rest of my life,” he said.

(1:14 song time)

“What are you saying?  What do you mean?” she said.

“What I’m trying to say is,” Naruto paused.  He was nervous & worried about what Sakura was going to say.

“Yes Naruto?” said Sakura.

“Would you give me the honor in being more than a friend, even more than a girlfriend,” he finally said.

Sakura was speechless.  A couple of minutes went by & nothing was said between them.  And the Sakura spoke.

“Oh Naruto,” said Sakura. (Song ends here :P )

“It’s ok, I understand,” he said with his head down & his back turned to her, “It’s not like I thought you would say yes.  I mean come on; who are we kidding no one would ever love me.”

Sakura ran up to him & hugged him very tight.  Naruto was surprised by Sakura’s action.

“Yes Naruto,” said Sakura still hugging him.

“I don’t understand.  I thought…” Sakura interrupted Naruto.

“You never gave me a chance to say anything,” said Sakura.

“So you mean,” said Naruto.

“Yes.  How many times do I have to say it,” she said as she turned him around.

“Yes?” he said excited.

“Yes! Yes! Yes!” she was so excited in saying yes that she leaned forward and kissed Naruto.

Sakura noticed that they were kissing and quickly backed away blushing.

“Sorry about that I guess I got carried away,” said Sakura still bl.

“Wow, that was great,” said Naruto all love sick like.
