I'll reserve my judgment until more is shown, but I like the vibe. I like games that go against the grain in some respects instead of just following the cookie cutter formula. There's plenty of other titles out there if this doesn't end up being your cup of tea.

Not the worst, but definitely was mediocre to me. For me the formula was stale by time Infinite rolled around. The first Bioshock was pretty amazing to me, but Infinite was just blah.

It seems a bit too early for an upgrade imo, but I think they're just trying to get ppl on board like with smart phone releases. Gives the simplicity of a console with an already existing library, but gets people to keep buying upgraded hardware that runs software and other features better. Eventually the latest and greatest system gets software or an os update that can't be handled on the lowest denominator and you're faced with upgrading.

Depends what it does and how it affects ps4 games that are already available and upcoming releases. I really don't want a new ps console yearly or every other year like cellphones. I feel like this console gen has barely started. If I wanted to upgrade my hardware every couple years I'd much rather move to PC gaming.

Amygdala in Chalice Dungeon 4, wanted to pull my hair out for the longest time

It had some cool ideas and great atmosphere and narrative. It's too bad it was hampered by being repetitive and uninteresting in regards to gameplay. The concepts were cool just not fully developed into something to create compelling gameplay over the length of an entire game. All I can remember is starting areas and building up a bunch of weapons and then losing them....over and over until the credits ran.
