if you want to take a break from real gaming and act a lil silly.you just turn on your wii. something both ms and sony will fix when their own motion controls come out next year.

I guess it must suck to be you then. If you are so worried about console gaming holding back PC gaming, then buy PC exclusives only. Problem solved.

NO its expensive, too expensive for my blood, too expensive for many people's blood, but not overpriced.

If I had access (as in was able to purchase it straight from the manufacturer) to the cpu and gpu of the Wii and the OS coding and the same DVD drive. I could probably make the Wii for $50-75. Yet Ninty sells it at $279.99 here in Canada (yeah **** you Ninty for being the only one of the 3 to follow the dollar, when at the time out of the three you were the only one in the position to care the least, ie. PS3 and 360 are priced the same in US/Canada even the dollar has fallen from parity). Now to make my own PS3 ... would probably cost me over the $400 level. 360, I'm not too sure because I've forgotten about its internal structure at the moment (4:30 am) but I could probably make one for ~$200-300. So when I look at the Pricing yeah 360 is pretty appropriate depending on the console. PS3 is pretty appropriate. But the Wii is definitely not.

I'm not speaking of what the consumer gets out of it, but rather what the company put into it. Nintendo didn't put much, where as MS and Sony have.

but like i side before. neo geo had that wow factor. you will prolly never see that much power over the other2 consoles in the same gen again. neo geo was like a aracde in ur bedroom. well u remember snes and sega gen graphics dont ya? after neo geo nintendo and sega were forced to go 3d. they couldnt even match its 2d on their next genconsoles

Kind of pathetic how the PS3 after almost 3 years still isn't as cheap as the PS2 was when it launched.

neither the wii or gamecube had the best *of* any of their nintendobrand games. gamecube wasthe worst last gen. and without wii sports and 360 being 400 and ps3 being 600. the wii would be a big plie of poop dead in the water.
