@runstalker: it serves a purpose yes but it's a very small purpose that most people have no use for since they don't havr a camera and if you don't want VR then it truly is pointless. Bad thing is tho, no matter how much people have been demanding a way to turn it off, every interview with any Sony spokesperson, when asked if they plan on giving us the option, the answer is always a flat out "no, we will not be making that option available now or in the future" and that's been since day 1.
@lvsolja: you can use DS3 style sticks. DS4 controllers were made to be taken apart and customized, no hidden screws under stickers or anything like that. You can buy official Sony replacement buttons sticks and touch pad in a multitude of colors to replace the ones that come stock. Most people don't know that you can replace the worn rubber joysticks for less than 5 bucks and instead drop 50 on a completely new controller.
@deadp00l: something to do with motion sensor blah blah
I actually bought a deadpool skin for the console and controllers and it came with a sheet of stickers that you put over the light. Like right now I've got an arkham asylum one on it and it looks like a lit up bat logo now. It's something that makes it tolerable at least.
@veryDERPY: Funny story on that. Friend of mine's brother Aaron works for playstation in Cali, and apparently after so many complaints they secretly started making controller sticks a bit better but never publicly said anything about it. Which is why everyone is still posted about it. But hey, at least the consoles themselves are pretty solid. How Microsoft didn't catch a class action lawsuit over releasing the 360 too early with what like an 87% fail rate is beyond me Haha
@asnakeneverdies: disabling the bar adds like 8 hours of battery life at that. Can't believe they still wont give the option to turn it off if we want.
Soooo....play offline from now on, wait till after the server reset n then connect online and register every thing you've discovered? Would that not work?
