@flatovercrest: well yeah, but this isn't about PC and the godlike abilities their users claim to have. Haha I mean I don't get me wrong ive got one too, but have more friends with consoles than pc.
@Barighm: might be doing something wrong, or most likely need to go to the actual web site. Ive changed my main email on 360 before to match the one I used on PSN so some services like the ubisoft store has kept up with my game history since the first one they introduced it in WAY back when.
@Barighm: the kids that picked names like butt Lord thought it was funny and cool when they were 15, not realizing the same account would follow them for the next half of their life and 15 years later, now 30 years old, can't change it.
@BobaFatt: Yeah but damn, ask a 15 year old what they want their name to be, and even if you tell them to take it seriously, TeaBagz2daFace might not be what they would have necessarily chosen once they got a bit more grown up. It was pretty much laziness on Sony's end with their rush to get Ps3 dropped and get caught up with Xbox, who had basically flawless name change options since the beginning.
@Archangel2222: blame it on the introduction of trophies/achievements. They stopped allowing you to download random save files because they could be modded and allow you to unlock all trophies without doing anything. Remember Left 4 Dead on 360? Load up the downloaded save file, start the first level, shoot one bullet from your pistol, and it would unlock all achievements at the same time. I think there's still an unlicensed program that can convert saved files to be compatible with other names, but don't quote me on that.
CaptnLongDong has been my online handle for every game and system since the HL mod Team Fortress Classic came out in 1999. Option to or not, I can't bring myself to change it.
