You will be surprised how many people come here and make up these stories. Most don't own a 360 to begin with.

I find it funny on how you use some horrible pieces of information to support what you're saying.

For one thing, he could have been playing at a friends house or something like that.

He could also have played those games before it broke, and then logged onto xboxlive over the internet on his computer. That shows that he's online. For as long as I've been on this thread, I haven't seen many people to make up a thing like this. apparently you're new to the forums. 

Trust me many many people especially those seeking attention make up these stories. Don't believe everything you read. Xbox Live shows exactly the date and time you last played a game so logging on the the PC doesn't count.

I feel sorry for you that your system flopped, but why does everyone think that they have to create a thread when their 360 dies?  It get's really old.  Try using your blog, that's what it's there for.  And I hope you have better luck with your next system.ColoradoKindBud

I don't want to accuse the guy of anything but the fact that he has been playing online everyday up to yesterday suggests that his story is false. You really cannot believe everything you read here.

He post this on the 29th yet he was playing Graw and Totemball on the 29th then Oblvion, Contra and Guitar hero yesterday. Some people forget that they post their gamertags on their profiles.

You can play those files.  Just install VLC media player.

And get xvid4psp. It is the best converter. :)

Maybe you should mention that you need to install Linux first and installing VLC on it is not as simple as one click. Plus it has many bugs.

Release an official Sony PS2 > PS3 USB adapter for games like Guitar Hero.  They have to also commercialize it well (important!).  I know it is already available but the people who don't do research on the internet do not know about it.  With the sales of Guitar Hero, people might start considering getting a PS3.lextexrex

I have a core 2 duo and it will still take a long time to convert videos especally HD. It takes like 2 hours to convert blu ray movies to VC-1 WMVHD
