I'm just generally shy around new people. I don't even know if you'd call it shy to be honest, but I'm definitely less talkative, and considering I'm not really that talkative to begin with you should get the picture. :P
I'm apparently one of the few that actually didn't give a crap about the social networking boom. I was willing to get a Facebook to appease my cousins that wouldn't stop bugging me about it, though I hardly use it anyways. I don't have enough interesting things going on to make constant updates, and nobody really messages me or posts on my wall anyways unless it's for my birthday, so I don't see the point. Thus Twitter is even more pointless for me, and tbh I never really got the draw of it in the first place.
I try to maintain a normal sleeping schedule, but it doesn't always work out. Ideally I'd like to be in bed by 1am so I can still get a good sleep and wake up before lunch, but I still have my really late days, more frequently than I'd like unless I was working a late shift or something tbh. Too hard to avoid getting caught up in things though. 7-8 hours of sleep has proven to be enough to not make me feel drained, but I've gotten less and been fine, so I have no idea.

How long were you out? I've been away for a while myself. . . I'd say maybe close to seven months before I logged in back in June. I think the last time that I actually logged on and came to the forums was back in 2008, so close to three years. :P
I usually just stick with rock and its variants as far as general music I listen to anyways. I have a fairly extensive Japanese playlist as well though, mostly Jpop, which is a large step away from the American music I prefer to listen to. Always fun when it shuffles from heavy metal to jpop.
