The failure right now is obviously the PS3, as it's last place in sales, and the gap seems to be widening in the 360's favour.
Of course the PS2 did better than the 360 in the same time frame, considering it had no real competition on the market, so it dominated, much like the Wii has done this gen.
it's obviously you are blinded fanboy all you see is xbox 360 in 2nd place and are blotting out the one year head start and the $600 / $400 and xbox $199 price tag. I understand if you blott it out and pretend it never happened your systems the best ;)
