But is it possible to run say, a gtx 260 and an 8800gt in tandem? I am new to SLI.

I bought memory in two different sets for my new mobo. One set was able to be set at 1600 and the other at 1333. Can I still set the one set at 1600 and leave the other at default? Or is this mobo dependant?
Thanks!
Thanks for the tips!

I have this card installed, and have done nothing but keep the drivers updated. Am I able to overclock it? It is the "overclocked" edition, does that mean it is already OC'd?
I bought this mobo:

and I already have "MSI N260GTX Twin Frozr OC GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card" Sorry I can't find a link for it.
It does, but thats why I asked about the conversion. My board has hdmi, the card has dvi.
I just bought a new MOBO with HDMI out. Can I connect it to my HDTV with a PCI-e graphics card installed? Or do I have to remove te card in order for it to function?
Another question I had: If I use a DVI to HDMI out converter, do I lose quality of picture? Or does it stay the same b/c they are both digital signals.
Thanks for advice.
Also I have been checkingout the "open box" deals. Anyone have good/bad experiences with them?
Any recommendations for around the same price?
I plan on buying some components for a new rig soon.

I have yet to pick out a case. With trying to keep cost low, any suggestions? Also I plan on recycling two hard drives from the old computer, along with a gtx 260, a 575W PSU, and the DVD drive. These items are all compatible, and will work well together correct?
Thanks for advice!
