Can you name a time in videogame history when a console gets the most titles but has the worst selection of games at the same time? There isn't a time in history when that has happened. It is happening with Wii and I'm pissed!

We all know that a consoles earliest games are an indication of what's to come.

I'm talking about the entire lifespan of Wii. Not the early games. PS2 had far more appealing games after 7 1/2 months than Wii does now. PS2 was TAKEN SERIOUSLY when devs saw how well it was selling. Then, more and more great games appeared. This is not going to happen with Wii. Just watch. Even with the amazing popularity of Wii, 3rd party devs STILL won't commit to making great games. Wii has all the potential in the world and it is not being utilized. :evil:

Yeah, I've heard this before. No offense, but every time Iread "caught off guard and needed more time for development" from someone I think damage control. PS3 games are still getting announced left and right when devs know it isn't selling that well. Sorry. There is no logic to it no matter how hard you try. I guess the phenominal E306 showing of Wii, and the huge popularity of Wii at the E3 didn't make developers take notice then either huh? I mean, it has been over a 1 1/2 since the last E3...

The pattern throughout all of videogame history has been this...

The console that sells the most in its lifespan gets the mostappealing games. The console that sells the least in its lifespan gets the worst games. This is changing...

PS3, despite selling somewhat abysmally, will STILL end up with better games than Wii. This is just downright pathetic. Yes, I know I've said this b4, but think about how ridiculous this really is. PS3 could end up with a library half the size of Wii throughout its lifespan. I'm not saying this will happen, but if it does, then PS3 will STILL HAVE A BETTER SELECTION OF GAMES THAN WII. And, no, I'm not a fanboy. I despise Sony. I'm just mad at Nintendo and other 3rd parties who won't even try to make decent games on Wii. So, here it is folks!

Congrats 3rd party Wii devs! You may end up with the most games this gen, but you will also have the worst selection of games this gen as well. And thank you 3rd parties for NEVER TAKING WII SERIOUSLY even though it has potential to bring you the most revenue. Seems so logical! Let's make games SOOOOO TERRIBLE on Wii that people will get turned off from our games, and then stop buying them altogether! Brilliant idea! :roll:

If they drop the price yeah. But I'm more interested in how much wii is going to sell. I mean they're obviously holding units back (1.5 million made/month and 1 million sold/month with a high sell through rate.) and they have some big guns coming.
