Too bad for Ubisoft. I intended to buy Rayman this month, since I've just finished quite a few games, but by September lots of games I'm waiting for will have launched. So no Rayman for me.
@thechamp69 XCom games have always had probability based attacks. How could you be disappointed? It was never going to be anything else. And I don't really see why that aspect of the game bothers you. It makes sense, and doesn't take the strategy away. I've seen lots of people bitching about missing shots; maybe they should realize that playing this game with skill involves making sure your squad's position allows them to shoot first, and with VERY high probabilities to hit. Relying on 60 or 70% shots is noobish.
Good job making me not buy a game I intended to buy initially. But later in the year, there are other games I'm looking forward to. Won't have time for Rayman by then.
Microsoft and Sony milk franchises as much as, or even more than Nintendo. It's just that Nintendo has been around for much longer, and has more franchises. At least Nintendo puts a lot of effort in reinventing its core franchises. Can't say the same about Halo, Gears, GoW or UC. Btw : how many 3D Marios last gen? How many Zeldas? How many Metroids? Compare this with the yearly COD or Madden, or Fifa.. Compare this with Halo, Uncharted, and so on.
Mc Shea's only valid point is the lack of 3rd party support. The rest is completely oblivious of the state of the industry, and thus pointless.
One of the best games ever gets an HD remake..... Wooot.
And to all the "meh/rehash" rednecks : look at how often Nintendo releases a new Zelda console game, and then compare this to Uncharted/Halo/CoD/Etc... And then go stuff yourselves!
Wait a second... So the best version of Trine 2 also gets the worst review? I never cared much for reviews in the first place, but I hadn't noticed how random GS had become in that regard. Good thing I only come here for the news, and the forums...
