[QUOTE="tzar3"][QUOTE="Rocky32189"]chessmaster, you know as well as I do that Satan was just created by humans long ago as a tool to instill fear and gain religious followers. There is no explanation for "why God doesn't just destroy Satan".Cherokee_Jack
This seems like the best answer.
In that it doesn't have anything to do with the question? It kinda does, actually, if Satan doesn't exist, then how could god destroy him?[QUOTE="Rocky32189"]chessmaster, you know as well as I do that Satan was just created by humans long ago as a tool to instill fear and gain religious followers. [QUOTE="mine-ish-er"][QUOTE="mindstorm"] Hell isn't a "vacation" for Satan but a place of eternal torment for him. Btw, Satan continues to live on the earth and will do so until Jesus returns.supa_badmanYeah, what I was saying was that Satan was FORCED to retreat to Hell, not to chill out. God made hell then threw him and all his followers in just to clear that up *cough* God made hell during the war, it was the only place available to Satan, so he ran there *cough*
Jesus will cast Satan and his followers into Hell.mindstormThey're already there! They torture you as a punishment for sinning (if I spelled that right)!

I'm getting at the answer to your question. There is no simple answer regarding theology; if you're not willing to think about it then your question is meaningless.
If all that exists is God, and if matter cannot be created or destroyed, and if matter exists once God wills it, where is the one place matter could have possibly come from?
Theokhoth
Okay the reason he's not understanding your reasoning is that you're on a completely different religious topic. That sentence would be best suited in a thread about evolution or the big bang.
Trust me, it ties into his question. I know what the topic is and he's argued with me enough to know that I always keep to the point.
Wow... God created Satan, Satan was Gods Second-in-command (so to speak) and Satan was too ambitious and tried to start a rebellion against God, so God waged war on Satan. Satan lost the war and fled to Hell!
