Who is going to buy Scarlett for better raytracing if MS no longer cares about exclusivity but Sony and Nintendo still does? I mean, if I want the best raytracing possible I'll buy the MS games that make use of it on PC.

The joke is that despite being gruff pirates they end up doing all the work for her because they're so lonely and never get to be around women because of their station in life. But I suppose you would think that is toxic and that one of the greatest animators of all time should be forced to change his art because of your opinions.

You know what would make Collection of Mana a great collection? If they'd included some of the other games.

Maybe instead of the black and white original they could have gone with the colorized version that was made for cellphones? This version looks like it was perfectly faithful to the original (unlike the GBA remake), just with better graphics.

Maybe it was a bad game, I dunno. But it would sure look a lot nicer on the tv than the original Gameboy game. Or why not include all of them?

There was that remake for the PS Vita, why not include that?

What about Legend of Mana on the PS1? Why not include that? It's already translated. Even PS2 games are being ported to the Switch now with Devil May Cry, so they could have even included Dawn of Mana too.

I just feel like the Collection of Mana is a real missed opportunity to do a proper anniversary celebration. Here's a few more shots of what the cellphone version looked like. Looks nice!

FF8 was a weird one. I'm glad they are remastering it, it definitely looks nicer now. But the draw system and junctioning is one of those love it or hate it things. If you've never played it, MAKE SURE YOU DRAW from bosses until you get whatever summon they have. Otherwise you can miss them permanently.

@HoolaHoopMan: it's not a matter of homophobia. The character in Beauty and the Beast was not originally written as homosexual, which believe me was not an unknown phenomenon in France at the time the book was authored. So here we have an example of Disney inserting homosexuality into a character while removing heterosexuality of another character in a harmless joke. I'm not making a value judgment, just an observation.
