go to dashboard --> network settings --> edit settings, then go to the bottom box, and click on that, you should be able to choose your connection from there.
I already have xbox live up and running, and usually get 3 green bars at least. My question is, will portforwarding the xbox ports make my connection better? or is port forwarding only for people who are having trouble connecting altogether. Thanks
Yeah, that happened to me. I was holding off til buying my xbox 360 because there was no way i was missing out. Although (and i honestly don't mean to make you feel bad) I had been working my arse off, so i was able to buy 360 elite pack, with a samsung 40" full HDTV 1080p :)
To the previous posters... I have two near-new routers, and i have read reviews that they both run flawlessly for xbox live (i've tried both, neither work)
to starbound: how do I check the WPA stuff? I thought I knew a fair bit about tech but that just went over my head..haha
So i just bought my Xbox Elite pack yesterday, with a wireless USB adapter (and a 40" Samsung F8 Full HDTV)....
I have perfect wireless every where in my house (can get full strength on all my laptops from anywhere in the house), but my Xbox won't recognize the wireless signal. I have the USB wireless adapter conntected (the light is on, and its coming up as recognized on my dash)
Does anyone know why i can't access the wireless? My settings are set to public, my friends bring their laptops over regularly and can connect straight up, I don't know what the issue is wiht my xbox though
