@javy: Or maybe the reviewer didn't enjoy it as much as others? It's only a review score anyway lol the meta is really good (85 last time I checked) so general consensus is its an excellent game. Just because the reviewer didn't enjoy it doesn't mean that's because its an xbox game, didn't Forza just get a 9 or something?

Recore lol. I tried the 30 min demo last night, Joule disappeared into the landscape about 3 or 4 times when walking and then I hit a glitch where I kept falling through the same bit of the floor and respawning on top of the same bit and fell through every time I moved. I wanted it to be great but it just seems like a cheaply made rinse repeat kind of game with no substance to keep me motivated so I'll pick it up on a sale later on or wait for it to go onto the games with gold. Shame really, it looks like it had masses of potential.

@gameplayuk: People compare it as a sense of progression - E.G. people feel that Zelda maybe not should have but definitely could have matured over the years into a Dark Souls style of game (no hand holding, tense melee/ranged combat, inter-connected world etc) its a fair link between the 2 when you look at the old Zelda games, they could have easily matured into a Dark Souls game.

Personally I get the comparison but I wouldn't directly compare the 2 games in any other way than "Dark Souls feels like it could be a mature Zelda title"

Whilst I do get the "its Zelda but grown up" kind of comparison I like that we get both instead of Zelda progressing into a DS style of game (it definitely morphed into something else as the years have gone by) I can believe that a lot of people can go from Zelda to Dark Souls and start linking them in ways stating "I wish the next Zelda game would go down this route" but if that actually happened I don't think people would enjoy it anywhere near as much. Zelda and Dark Souls are both fantastic series of games and the progression Zelda has made over the years has felt natural, pushing the DS vibe deeper into Zelda's gameplay just doesn't seem appealing to me.

Now that's not me saying I wouldn't play it lol. But I just like where Zelda has been going and we already have a million DS clones out now and coming in the next year or so, keep Zelda as is and make a Bloodborne 2 and we can all be happy :)

PS I'd also say personally I think Darksiders (2 - I never played 1) is more in tune with what I would imagine a "grown up" Zelda game would be like.

@TashunkoSapa: That's just what you want too see I think dude. The hype was everywhere, TV, journalists, the public from events, Sony fans, PC fans etc. I never thought it looked like my thing so I was a bystander all the way so I seen it from every source that you could possibly hype something from lol, sure it caused some Sony/Xbox flame wars but hype was literally coming from every angle.
