Nope. No reason to buy DLC for a bland game, even if it was free (which all DLC SHOULD be).

Another soon-to-be great game doomed to gut-wrenching sales. WHEN WILL IT END?!

Why in the world couldn't Treyarch just create a Wii version of MW2,alongside IW? I'm assuming they are still using the COD4 engine, and they could just develope them together. I don

That's usually what happens, ya know... with Multiplatform games. I've never heard of a late Multi-Platformer though! :P

I love playing MW at my buddies house, but I hate the controllers! I am excited about this, but at the same time.... I'm rather annoyed that they wouldn't give us MW2 instead. I'm really going to have to think about this one

Indeed, but Wii is the only console I own, and I highly doubt my computer will be able to run MW 2. I say this deserves a comfy spot on my Most Wanted list.

And yet I'll still be picking it up regardless. I need something relatively decent as The Conduit fell short.

Normally I'd be appauled by this seeing it's a two-year game, but after The Conduit, I'll have to wait and see. I'm sorry, but The Conduit was terrible.

Because it's only selling poorly on the Wii

It's going to be on other consoles and all of them will sell well as a joint effort

Jaysonguy

the sequal (if there is going to be one) may very well be a multiplat. but i dont see the first one going to the 360, PC or PS3. the devs would need to spend a significant amount of money upgrading the games tech to make it palatable to the PS3 and 360s markets. i dont think the sales would justify the expense. the game is very much geared towards wii hardware so porting it over properly would not be trivial. a port to the PSP and PS2 could work though (if they could get the PS2s DVD drive to keep up). the PSP especially could be another good platform for it...LKS would also be a pretty good portable game. anywho its a great game. i got it when it launched in europe.

No, the first one is going to be multiplat

They don't have to do much to release it elsewhere

Slow sales on the Wii are only one part of the revenue it'll see. The game will expand to many different platforms and be safe from there

I honestly don't see it. Wouldn't they lose even more money if it's to be, as you say, multi-platform?

I'm a tad confused as well, but this is my opinion on the matter.....

Nintendo needs to stick with the whole "find an item in the dungeon" but they also need to create a new method of play at the same time to keep things fresh for veterans. TBH I'd rather Nintendo incorperate only 6 items, instead of 20. I'm all for more items/weapons, but what is the point of throwing an extra item in there that only serves a purpose in 1 dungeon (like 15% of the game). That is a waste of development time, and I'd rather them focus one creating a world that allows my to use my other items more often, than not.

Another hard thing Nintendo is going to have to deal with is... creating a game that appeals to both the JP, and NA markets.

Don't be surprised if we get something like Phantom Hourglass

For fans of the series, this is a very important time for Nintendo. For the rest of the consumer base, it's honestly not that big of a deal. The market (outside hardcores) will enjoy the game as long as it looks good, and plays good.

Agreed. I was quite disappointed that the Spinner and Dominion Rod in TP were sharply underused. And I thought they were pretty great tools. Less tools may be a downer, but as long as they're all used equally and significantly, I agree for the most part.
