@syf82277 I hope not... i predict Microsoft will announce "next box" in 2013 followed by Sony in 2014. or they may both announce next year. whatever they decide im ready for next gen.
@SlowMotionKarma I had 3 fat ps3s die on me than i got a slim its about a year or so old and its flawless. they should just keep the current ps3 and have a price drop on it. i dont see why they would make another version. it would save them time and money, unless the new one is cheaper to manufacture. that is the only reason i can see sony going through with it.
@Trickymaster agreed, but i doubt it will keep up with Microsoft and Sony next gen, in terms of hardware. Hopefully it will have a lot more 3rd party support than the wii did.
You "analyst" crack me up. 3ds launched at 249.99. My guess would be for Nintendo to price there console around 299.99-349.99,the pro controller to be around 49.99-59.99,games 59.99, and the Wii U game pad 69.99-99.99.
all i hear is these graphics are crap, they look old, etc... Ok say they pump out every bit of power from the technology we have now. for ex: minimum specs: quad core, 4GB mem dd3 1333+,gtx 580 or equivalent. recommended settings: 6 core processors, 4GB mem ddr3 1333 (32bit os) 8GB mem ddr3 1333+ (64bit os) gtx 580 sli or equivalent. From a economic stand point this is not ideal because not many people can afford a $1500 min spec-$2500+ recommended spec computers, there fore, not many people could run the game and the company wouldn't make any profit. And this is where consoles come in there a fraction of the cost and the specs are all the same making it easier for dev/companies to design a game on budge and still make a profit. im using a Q6600 @3Ghz 2Gb ddr2 @800 and 8800gt 32bit vista home pre. 10 years from now were gonna looks at this and laugh. sorry i felt like i had to rant for a min. GAMERS UNITE!
