The E3' 08

E3 was amazing, Mirosoft making the gamerpad and suppurt from netflix to thier interface they also introduced gears of war2, fable 2 and the amazing trailer of fallout3

Nintendo's E3 was a big one, they actually introduced new peripherals to thier system, like the Wii motion sensor-Plus, Wii Speak and also an amazing game that i really liked that was called snowboarding sumthing, they also amazed the audience by thier Fantastic selling chart that showed that Wii on top it's been actually outselling the DS, PS2 !!! , Xbox360 and the playstation 3 for the last 12 + 19 months. where as they showed that Ps3 was the Least in sales :(.

Sony's E3 was also amazing, i was on a live blog checking out whats goin on ! lol, they started with john introducing making jokes an stuff, and talking about the HorsePower that is so called a Ps3 !, they first showed Resistance 2 which was COMPLETLY out of the blue ! the game looked so damn Real-Life Photorealistic from those screenshots and pictures that i saw ! they also talked about Bioshock wich's goin to support Home and trophies with additional contents. sony was showing of with an amazing features of home, and the Movie Download service that was available last night from the PSstore.
A price cut for the 80 GB ps3 model to 399.99 $ was announced and a price cut for ( resistance, Warhawk, motorstorm, Oblivion, assasin's creed, cod3 and sun other games ) to be 29.99 $.
A trailer of "God Of War III" that amazed everybody setting on his ass on that E3 ! they said that this game uses the SPUs of the Cell and all i can say is WoW!
so after all Sony had amazed the crowd by 74 EXCLUSIVEs this year coming out on the ps3 and 130 Exclusives on the Ps2.
and finally ! MAG !! wadda F! Massive action game ! exclusive for th ps3 that showed Battlefields and an amazing reality, a MMO game that will actually support 256-PLAYER ! online..

i just read some live blogs so, if i know more ill let you guyz know !

I bought a new HDD for my PS3 :D

I have the 60 GB ps3. I bought a toshiba 250 GB for the ps3 and im now usin the ps3's 60 GB sata 2 :) as my external HDD.
I installed the 250 GB and it works perfect :). I got 40 movies, 25 Demos and lots of music now, and i still got 160 GB free :)

! " i've actually noticed an extreme change in speed for the loading times !! 1 minute = almost 40 seconds "

iLike :D ..

Orderd Metal gear solid 4 Limited edition wich im gunna be getting it soon for 270 SR .. new! lol

Get rid of your headache ! :D

I tried these steps and they actually work perfect for me :)

  1. Feel the top ridge of your eye socket under the eyebrow. You will discover a small groove in your skull about the center of the top of the eye socket. In this groove is a nerve which is very sensitive to pressure. If you compress this nerve, it will be very painful. However, the pain will stimulate the pituitary to release endorphins immediately. The endorphins are the body's own natural painkillers and are more powerful than morphine.
  2. To stimulate the nerve, push hard against it for about 10 seconds.
  3. A similar method for releasing endorphins is to take 10 teaspoons of cayenne pepper in a glass of water. This is not harmful. When the cayenne hits the stomach lining, endorphins will be released by the brain to stop the pain.
  4. Try putting a cold compress on your forehead or behind the neck. Many headaches are caused by tense neck muscles. Conversely, use a moist hot pack to loosen up tense muscles - see which works best for you.
  5. Massage the ears and ear lobes as well as the neck. If you can, find two tennis balls or raquet balls and put them in a sock. Lay on a flat surface and place the two balls just below the base of your skull on the occiput and relax. You may feel sinus pressure or minimal discomfort at first but it will go away. Lay in this position with the still point on the occiput for as long as needed. This is especially helpful for sinus headaches.
  6. Similar in concept to the endorphin release - nerve stimulation through acupressure can offer some relief of symptoms. Search for "Do-in" or "acupressure" on the web.
  7. *Reflexology - With one hand, massage the area between the thumb and forefinger on the other hand and hold. Use only as much pressure as you can tolerate and be sure to breath deeply and relax-this spot will probably be painful. Hold it until the pain level reduces significantly and repeat with more pressure. Do this on both hands and repeat as needed.
  8. Lots of headaches are caused by dehydration - the brain has a high percentage of water, so lack of it causes it to shrink. Drink plenty of water, and in many cases your headache will go away.

pretty awesome !!

IBM's New SuperComputer to set a world's processing record !! *RoadRunner*

"A new supercomputer in the U.S. has broken a barrier that many thought wouldn't be broken for years to come. A new supercomputer-- dubbed Roadrunner-- has broken the petaflop barrier.

Roadrunner was designed by engineers and scientists at IBM and the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Ultimately, Roadrunner will be placed into a classified environment where it will be used to simulate what effects aging has on the stockpile of nuclear weaponsthe U.S. has in its arsenal. The problem it will work on is modeling how aging nuclear weapons behave the first fraction of a second during an explosion. Before beginning its nuclear weapons research, Roadrunner will be used to model the effects of global warming.

The Roadrunner supercomputer costs $133 million and is built using chips from both consumer electronics and more common server processors.

Roadrunner has 12,960 chips that are an improved version of the Cell chip used in the PS3. These Cell processors act as a turbocharger for certain portions of the calculations the Roadrunner processes. The computer also uses a smaller, unspecified number of AMD Opteron processors.

A computer researcher from the University of Tennessee, Jack Dongarra told the New York Times, "This [breaking the petaflop barrier] is equivalent to the four-minute mile of supercomputing."

Horst Simon from the Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory said, "Roadrunner tells us about what will happen in the next decade. Technology is coming from the consumer electronics market and the innovation is happening first in terms of cell phones and embedded electronics."

Technology first appearing in the consumer electronics market and then making its way into supercomputing is a stark contrast to a process that commonly works in the exact opposite manner.

In total, Roadrunner has 116,640 processing cores and the real challenge for programmers is figuring out how to keep all of those processing cores in use simultaneously to get the best performance. Roadrunner requires about 3 megawatts of power, or about enough electricity to run a large shopping center.

To put the processing power in perspective, Thomas P. D'Agostino of the National Nuclear Security Administration said that if all 6 billion people on Earth entered calculations on a calculator for 24 hours a day, seven days per week it would take 46 years to do what Roadrunner can do in less than 6 hours.

The supercomputer's architecture is based on a hybrid node system. Each node contains two AMD Opteron dual-core and four PowerXCell 8i processers. The PowerXCell CPUs are derived from the same Cell processor used in the Sony Playstation 3 and act as computational accelerators for the Opterons." -dailytech.com-

wow..let's see a massive room filled with wall to wall processors and the combined power requirements of a small city - all to mimic the abilities of a single human brain, isn't that wierd !! ??

How can we use our processor ?
