Okay, there has been a lot of discussion about this recent change of events but a lot of it seems to be either "i think its good" or "i think its bad". We have a lot of things to consider after the announcement of WoL most of which we have no information about. There are some key questions we needs answered in order to judge whether or not this 3 game shift is for better or worse:
1| Will each game cost the price of a full game. Or will there possibly be a discount on parts 2 and 3 for current part 1 owners
2| Will the multiplayer significantly change from game to game and if so will patches be available to owners of parts 1 or 2 to include any final multiplayer changes in 3
3| Will owners of 1 be able to play on-line with owners of 2 or 3
4| If we finally decide to buy all 3 will we be able to play content from the first two parts with the third disk in
5| Will there be a battle chest available and will it cost ridiculous amounts of money (I think a pre-ordered battle chest where you buy all three games at once at a discounted price and get each part shipped to you when they release would be brilliant)
As of now most of this is unknown and we probably wont know for another year. To be honest although the original campaign was fun, the on-line multiplayer competition made the game. Without such a balanced system and battle.net the game would never have reached its glory. IMO, the multiplayer should take precedent and if it obviously lacks anything due to the time spent of single player a lot of people will be miffed.
