In our case, hardcore refers to games with blood, violence, profanity, and controversial themes. With all due respect to hardcore gamers, it isn't necessarily a good thing about a game.
Depends on the console. If it's on XBOX, I prefer DD because the disc drive on my XBOX sucks. On PS3, I prefer discs because games take a lot of space on the PS3 HDD. However, if a game I really loved were on both disc and DD, I would probably buy both versions.

I thought it was the fact that John Schappert and Gabe Newell, two former critics of the PS3, were speaking on behalf of the PS3 at the Sony press conference.
