I'd rather make this an objective debate than a collection of purely subjective opinions that will most likely be based on some level of bias and fanboyism.

Hence why I think a site like metacritic is important/significant here, as well as some slightly more "professional" reviews from respected international gaming sites like IGN.

So rather than using just my own opinion to decide whether it is better than Mario Kart or not I would like to take an aggregate of lots of opinions and scores and feedback, and also objectively look at what each games offers and where each game excels, and then be able to actually say, without my own subjective bias, if what we have here is a superior kart racing game.

So far, from everything I have seen and read, I think it might just be.
