This time I decided to download the Forceware 169.28 drivers from a third party site and once installed I still only got 2 fps in Crysis. This happened when I downloaded and installed the 169.21 and 169.25 drivers before. I uninstalled the drivers before I installed a new one, yet I still get 2 fps in Crysis.
I started looking for a solution and stumbled on to this site Solution . I followed the guys instructions until I got to step 11 where Vista reboots. This time when Vista rebooted I got a black screen; I could here the sound, but I didn't recieve a picture. I can't hook the vga cable up to the other vga port on the back of the card because my monitor won't recieve a signal from that port.
Where did I go wrong and what do I do?
Has anybody else experienced these problems with Nvidia drivers for the 8800GT?
