In game XMB is useless, the only things you need from the xmb while in-game would be your friends list and maybe your music. It's not like your going to be in the middle of your game and have to watch videos, view photos, or check up on your demos/saved game content. Thats what save and quit is for. For all you people whining to sony about in-game XMB stop it now, it isn't possible without it being buggy. Have you ever been playing a game on your computer then minimized it and tryed opening up programs? It's much much slower and it often freezes up. What makes you think the PS3 could handle that? From now on in the forums people should end all of the in-game XMB and ask for a simple in-game friends list and music from your hard drive.
