@Encephlon Yes! That way it should not only be terrible, it would be memorably so. it would also spawn a sh*tty franchise and make me hate the series and never pick up a Naughty dog game again!

@CyhortI82 @CItizenTaylor I love the games, well the second one. First one sucked balls, and the third one hasn't grabbed me. Either way, have no interest in a movie.

It will suck. National Treasure writers, no. David O' Russel was the only thing that would have given this thing a chance. Naughty Dog should do themselves a favor and pour all this effort, time and money into doing what they do well, make video games. Movies based on video games have almost no chance of being good, all they are are cash grabs.

@Dororo22 I agree, I generally KVO's reviews even if I disagree with them. He tends to take each game for what it is, not holding a Lego game up to Ninja Gaiden standards.

@Jyakotu I've read a bunch of other reviews that said this game would have been a solid 7 or 8 but the move controls completely ruined the experience. I believe it. I got Starfox for the DS and they FORCED the stupid stylus into a game that not only didn't need it, but in fact broke the experience, making it often unplayable without severe hand cramping. That's what I think happened here, they took a fun game and ruined it by forcing it to work with the move controls.

Yes! I loved Mirror's Edge, while it may have not been for everyone, I think it was very underrated. My only complaints were:

(1) Crappy combat

(2) She was so weak that if a bad guy even looked at her she was dead, which was problematic when you were trying to pull off some complicated jumping/running combos and while getting gang raped with like 10 guards with guns

Those minor complaints aside, I absolutely can't wait for a sequel. I play through the game several times, and enjoyed it each time. I want to see where the story goes too!

There is a reason these games always suck so much, actually 2 reasons. Budget and Schedule. Some poor producer gets one of these turkey projects dumped in their lap, so they have to rush it through production, with limited time and money to pay artists and engineers and QA (All of whom are most likely also working on real projects). The film and game companies don't care about quality control, the film company just wants a quickie cash grab tie-in and the game companies always know that the bar of expectations are extremely low.

It takes someone special in charge somewhere to take an interest and invest a little extra in a good movie tie in game.

It sounds like he's giving each mode a 8.5/9 then the whole package a 7, which doesn't make sense. The only gripe he has is the jarring change of pace, but each time he says that, he also says, "But once you get the hang of it, it.s a blast, and well worth the trouble" Seriously, WTF? The score doesn't jive with what he's saying.

@devrindare I disagree, I loved LP2, DS2 was a huge disappointment. Not a bad game (though dumbest end boss ever) but just more of the same.

@QOSMSTR The lost planets are for people with a certain taste, I loved 1 and hesitated to buy 2, but, was that a fun ride. I hope LP3 lives up to the previous installments, and maybe the series can get the acclaim it deserves.
