Was it Goosebumps where a puppet came to life? That was one badass puppet. My favourite episode of AYAOTD was the one where some guy got sucked into a tree and he played a weird board game with some other guy that got sucked in years ago. Actually again, I'm not sure if that's the right show.

lets see for goosebumps it would have to be.... the one where the dad is trying to turn his kids to plants or something and for are you afraid of the dark would be when those 2 brothers go into a castle or something and 1 is missing and they go on a row boat.
