Dude, I got the wavebird for like 30 when it first came out. Though I could be wrong. Anywho, they retail $34.99. Where are you find $39.99?

Like some one said. Light guns reference the screen, the Wii remote references a sensor bar placed on the top or bottom of your tv. I think for the Wii remote to work like that, it would need to be remade.
Now it's too fast. Before it wasn't fast enough. But yes, I think they released some key titles earlier than I expected, but there are still tons more. So it's not too bad.
