[QUOTE="-Sniper99-"]I hate all mainstream rap, so yes, he does. C'mon people, listen to real rap please. Army of the Pharaohs, Snowgoons, and Immortal Technique are just a few. Too lazy to make a big list. Everyone who opened this thread, do yourselves a favour and click these links pleaseDarth-Caedus
Agree w/ this 100%:P And add Jedi Mind Tricks and The Devilz Rejectz to that list:P

Add El-P and Company Flow to that list too. Co-Flo freakin' revolutionized underground rap with Funcrusher Plus!

I am confuse... Most of the games that should have split-screen gameplay STILL DO. Like the last time I wanted to play a split-screen game and it didn't work was 50 Cent, and I don't think that is a top-tier game at all.

Left 4 Dead has it, Killzone has it, Gears of War has it, COD has it, etc. What ARE you complaining about? The only games that don't have it are usually the ones that can only exist because of the internet. Good luck having a fun 4-player game of Team Fortress 2 for example...

AtomicTangerine
lulz @ four player TF2, but what these people are saying is we need more split-screen games and I couldn't agree more. I am using a horrible internet connection (it doesn't even let me play DotA without a terrible lag) so the only way for to play with friends is split screen. Many people here in India are using connections as horrible as mine, the developers should think of people like us. Also, playing in the same room is more fun than playing online!

[QUOTE="dibyajyoti_mond"]

It swept away so many oscars but is it that good? You know, films get made in India which far better than this one.

Ontain

well i liked it. also most Bollywood movies i've seen are terrible.

Most Bollywood movies ARE terrible.

As mentioned in my above post, you should check out Johnny Gaddar. It's pure awesomeness!

@ everyone SLUMDOG IS NOT A BOLLYWOOD MOVIE it's a British movie with a predominantly Indian cast and crew

eh....I thought the movie was OK...as a rental on blu-ray. It was my first Bollywood movie, but TBH, I really have no interest in Indian culture at all.

IMO, there were better movies in '08 than Slumdog

LosDaddie

Slumdog isn't a Bollywood movie. There obviously were much better movies in '08 than Slumdog. And you don't have much interest in Indian culture because you don't seem to have dug much deep. Slumdog has nothing to do with Indian culture and neither has Bollywood. Bollywood was basically used by some critic to point out how directors here rip plots from Hollywood movies off, 'B' because the films were mostly made in Bombay (Mumbai). The name just stuck and has been in heavy use ever since.

Whats really sad in my opinion is that you guys are only exposed to the Bollywood part of Indian cinema. There are many independent Indian directors who make movies 1000x better than these big budget Bollywood guys. You should try watching movies by Ritwik Ghatak, Satyajit Ray (these two guys are old school) or even Anurag Kashyap (you'll probably not love him that much since you'd have to be an Indian to fully relate to his movies, but he is probably the most original directors in India)

You should also try Johnny Gaddar, its a Bollywood film inspired by James Headly Chase, but not ripped off. It didn't get much box office success, but it in my opinion is one of the finest movies of '07.

Fiddy is one of the most intensly experimental rap musicians since Company Flow. I like the way he experiments with odd time signatures, haven't seen any other mainstream rapper do it the way he does. He is also a lyrical genius. His lyrics seem inpenetrable at first but eventually reveal deep philosophical meanings. I guess the reason so many people hate Fiddy is because his music is just too intelligent for them.
