I am currently at work and thinking about purchasing the Halo Legends Episodes but I am trying to figure out what would be easier/cheaper, buying the Blu Ray (or DVD) from the store or buying the episodes on the Halo Waypoint. I cannot find the individual episode prices anywhere on the internet, so if anyone is at home and/or has knowledge of the prices please help me out. I am assuming buying it in stores will be cheaper than buying each episode individually but not sure. Thanks for any and all help.

[QUOTE="moohan"]If you pre-order the Game through Gamestop you will be given a code to download the demo early off of the PSN. However, that date isn't until the beginning of February, so even if you pre-order it today and get your code today you will not be able to enjoy the demo for another month. After the game is released in stores they are going to make the demo available for everyone who can connect to the PSNone_on_one
Exactly. Someone posted that if you pre-order now you would be able to play the demo now, but the link states otherwise and it should clear up any confusion.

Yep, although most seem to be skipping this post and the earlier one similar to mine. A friend of mine has already received his demo code, which I was excited to hear about in hopes of getting an early glimpse at the actual game in motion, but he then informed me that you cannot start playing it until some day in February (I forgot the exact date). My assumption is that Gamestop, approached Sony with this offer so that they could benefit from those who were planning on buying the game to buy it from a Gamestop instead of Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy, etc etc and Sony said um.... free money sure thing. Although it does make me wonder why they wouldn't release it to everything and try to get the word of mouth hype going as well (as someone had posted earlier). Hmm... who knows, hopefully this game lives up to at least half the hype.

Can I use the phrase that all fanboys use if and when a game on their system scores low (or high) from another site/mag...."Why don't we wait for the GS score before we claim anything???" .... Really though do scores really mean all that much?? Seriously as another poster said above, who cares what a game scores? If you play the game and you have FUN playing it, who cares what other people think?? Games are made to entertain the people who play the game and if a game entertains you no matter what it has scored, just embrace it and enjoy it.

Oh the irony.... "cows" are constantly bragging about the extra things that are built into the PS3 (wi-fi, HDD, Blu-Ray, etc.) and constantly slamming the 360 for having add-ons.... whereas here is an ability that has been announced for sometime now to be inherant into the 360 that Sony is now coming out with an add-on for..... iiiiiiinteresting.

[QUOTE="justforlotr2004"]

I guess I can understand your doubt since they could very well be bullshots, but I think that most if not all media has been taken with the video recording feature though there is a chance Im wrong.

dubvisions

i just can't believe no one else is questioning these shots. i would think all Halo fans would want to confirm their birthplace. If the game actually looks like this, it could be friggin' amazing.

But my bet is, they aren't actual footage. And until I read proof of otherwise, I don't see why my scepticism would diminish.

First off Dub I must say good to see you posting in a much more mature manner then a few weeks back when you and I were posting back and forth. Secondly, I believe that most of the people in this thread are just telling you instantly that these are in fact "gameplay" shots, because that is what Bungie has been saying all along. All of the new shots that are released (by Bungie) are stated by Bungie as to have been taking from the gameplay camera just rotated at a different view from within first person. Therefore, it is assumed that these shots were taking the same way. Although, after checking the Bungie.net website and some other creditable websites I don't see these shots posted anywhere and so it makes sense to be skeptical. To me though, they appear to be real.

[QUOTE="moohan"]I don't know if this has been posted already (and this thread is entirely too long to read every post), but if you order the game on CircuityCity.com you instantly save $10. So, the PC version is only $39.99 and the 360 version is only $49.99. trollop_scat

Wow man thanks, you werent lying! Now, is the $10 discount worth waiting for it to ship!? Naaaaaah Im getting it tomorrow CANT WAIT!

Yeah I know niether can I. I am hoping that tomorrow the price is the same so I can order it online and then use the "in store pickup" option to save the 10 bucks. If so then I will have to decide if I go that route, or if I use my pre-order collector's edition from Gamestop. I do really want that big daddy figure though.
