I jsut started to play FIFA 09 again. ATM Im playing on Amatur difficulty I havent noticed the thing your saying like the game not responding to your input, but if the score is tied or the opposition is down by one goal late in the game I think that their skill level improves and they score weak goals by running around the defence, going one out with the goalie and scoring or they are more likly to score from free kicks or from far out and it really ****s me off.

Im looking for some recomendations for some arcade sports game for the PS1. The N64 has got Mario Tennis and Mario Golf. Has the PS1 got anything like this and is it any good?

Yeh Sony did make some changes. My mate has an older slim and the front and power/open buttons are slighty different to mine which is the latest model slim.

A bit off topic But why the f*** do Sony bring out a fat model of something (PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP) then a couple of years later bring out a slim model. Surely they could put a bit more work into the development of the fat model and make that smaller and just bring out one model. I dunno about you guys but I had the original fat model PS2 and I didnt go out and buy a slim just for the sake of it, sure Ive got a slim now but that is my third PS2. From my experience in gaming (PS1, N64 gen) I dont know of any other company that has done this, sure there's the Gameboy but that was an improvement/huge change each time
