Maybe one console if enough for some people?ONLYDOD

I was mainly getting at this point, people will only bash another console based on the fact they don't own it.

Something I never really understood is why people only stick to one console brand. If they buy an Xbox 360 they will never get a PS2/PS3 and bash it to death. The same with PS3 owners and how they will never own an Xbox 360. As a gamer myself, I love playing games and could careless what system they're on. I love Perfect Dark for example, and wouldn't mind buying an Xbox 360 to play that game, then Fable, Gears, ect... I love Metal Gear games and some of the other PS3 games. So I own a PS3 to play them. I understand not everyone can buy every system out there that's next gen, but people always seem to bash the system they don't own.

What happened to gamers loving games? Now it's all about what console you own, and how much "better" it's supposed to be. I see this more with the younger kids though, people like myself who came from playing the classics like NES, atari, ect... favoior gameplay over fancy graphics.

To be honest I think Metal Gear Soild is done... The only possible way you could bring MGS 5 into the story is if Snake found a way to stop the ageing and reverse himself or took on a cybernetic body. I don't believe you can move this story much forward, MGS 4 was a great finisher and should stay that way. Kojima should work on another game series.

I look at gamespot as a great place to find information about current games, however I never follow reviews because everyone likes different things in games. One person might find one game horrible and cannot even find an unbiased way to like it, while another person just loves the game. If you're paying for your games, play what you like, why let another person tell you what you should or shouldn't play? Reviews are fine, just use them as nothing more then that persons opinion of the game.

I'm not sure what anyone really expects... You're sitting down for say 8 hours while the only part of your body that really moves are your fingers, and you get up and feel neck pain? That's perfectly normal... Take a 15 min break for every hour of gaming.

I didn't want to use my PS3 at all due to compatibility issues with some games.

I currently own a HDTV which I use my PS3 for and I'm getting back into playing all the PS2 games I didn't finish. I don't want to use my PS3 for my PS1/PS2 games because it could have problems, even though the scaling is great. I was thinking of just buying some small cheap STD TV for the best picture. Unless these component cables really work for HDTV's. My HDTV can scale to 4:3, however you still can see jagged edges a lot.

Hello, I was wondering if It's better to just use my PS2 Slim for my PS1 and PS2 games instead of my PS3 (80gb) model. I know it can play 80-90% of PS2 games, but is the quality there? I could hook my PS2 up side by side with my PS3 no problem, however I do like how you can make memory cards on your PS3.
