Lets face it...EA is a majority of the gaming industry. EA owns thousands of well known franchises ( Madden, 007, etc.) and owns the most studios...

If EA were to release a console...and develop exclusivley for said console...there wouldn't be any competition. What would Nintendo do? Release Mario, Zelda, MP and SSB...while EA would have 100's of games from their own studios each month.

It would be a grim future....but I can see EA releaseing a console next-gen (2010-11).

Meh....Money is in the software not consoles. Why make something that will only limit the amount of your software purchased?? I think they will stay happy just beinga developer of games....there is no need for a 4th choice in hardware.

topic is pretty obvious. . . Do you guys think bungie will develop games for ps3 or maybe the wii?

I think thats kinda the whole purpose of being independant....so they can make games for who ever they want. However Micro$oft still has rights to Halo .... so that particular brand not so much. Who knows???

OMG!! You are just begging for it with that statement.....PS3 is on the bottom pal...perhaps you should look at systems sold this time around. They USED to be on top....now they are on the bottom...for now.

And as for the thread....It's not that people want it to fail....its that people like me are kinda pissed at the lack of drive for it to succeed. Sony is sitting on its ass trying to figure out what Gig system they want to make all the while letting great titles....exclusive titles.... slip away to other systems. Sony is too proud to admit they might have to work hard this round of systems to win the war. That my friend is the real issue. People that want it to fail are fanboys....not gamers.

I went to my local Game store and looked around for some new games. The worker there walked and talked me through the most recommended games out for the 360. I asked him that I'm not too keen on shooters, I get bored of racing games quickly, and I can't play a sports game if I wanted to. I then asked him what was the next genre that I might enjoy for the box. He then went on and picked up these games to consider looking into:

Halo 3

Forza

GRAW

Bioshock

Madden '08

Gears Of War.....

As he was looking for more games, I told him never mind and proceeded to walked out the store. The point is,What good is the 360 if you don't like some particular genres? The 360 needs diversity....has it been out long enough?

What does the 360 have coming after Halo 3 that will compete with all the big titles coming to PS3?

PS3 has coming: Rachet & Clank Tools of Destruction, Haze, Unreal Tournament 3, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Socom Confrontation, Gran Tourismo 5, Infamous,MGS 4, Killzone 2, Silent Hill 5, and on and on.

360 Has: Gears 2, Mass Effect and what?

Is this a serious thread??? I mean really is it.....cause Im pretty sure a person that was NOT a fanboy would never start this thread.....

Im pretty sure 360 still has plenty of games most of which will be a PORT to the PS3....thus being worse like all the games are now...like RS:Vegas....Madden 08 (30 fps v 60 fps) ...etc.

So...lets take a look at the games you listed...shall we??

Ratchet.....Delayed

HAZE....generic FPS...yes Ive played it and its generic with no to little inovation.

Unreal Tournament 3....no doubt amazing title....but will be better on PC

Uncharted....a direct ripoff of a cross between Gears of War and Tomb Raider.....could be cool...we'll see.

As for the rest of them NOT OUT TILL 08!!!!!! Although I cant wait for MSG4 .. GT5... etc.

Now for the 360....they have LOTS of games NOW not next year...but they do have some great titles next year and some Im sure that have not yet been announced. The system also will have plenty of titles coming this year....though not all exclusive they are still available on the system...thus making the system worth owning.;)

360 has:

Assassin's Creed

Mass Effect

Call of Duty 4

Rock Band

Guitar Hero 3

And I dont have to list the games that others have because there is no need to repeat.

But as you can see plenty of stuff for owners of a 360 :D

according to the 1UP preview i read one of MGS4 locations is "a desolate, bombed-out city of Medina, Saudi Arabia"

non-muslims can't enter it!! AAAAAAND it's a "Haram" meaning a place where no acts of war can be sparked at all times.

a place of worship and second in importance to "Makkah" (most important city to muslims)...
