In honor of the release of Hellboy II: The Golden Army (this Friday, July 11th) I have changed my user image and banner with Hellboy themes.

Just a note so you don't bother reading this whole thing, I have cancelled this "event" (of sorts) due to an abundance of annoying technical issues.

On a side note, the banner may end up being permanent because I have become unable to remove it or swap it out for my old banner or any other. We'll just have to wait and see.

My mistake seems to have been in unknowingly deleting the original file that went with the banner. I've tried restoring my computer to before I uploaded the new banner, but (unsurprisingly) it didn't help. Maybe I'll think of something else to try later.

Oddly the problem seem to have fixed itself.

So I guess I'll continue with the original plan.

Okay so I have identified the problem. The problem is that any image changes seem to not to work, but actually just take a REALLY long to time to take affect.

My new user image is up and I have uploaded my new banner too, but it hasn't actually appeared yet.

All the new stuff is Liz tomorrow I will leave the Liz stuff up most of the day and then change it to an Abe theme. Thursday will be Johann and then Friday will be all of BPRD.

Ok first off as some of you may have noticed I made a small change to my banner above.

I realise that some of it got cut off so the rest of this blog is meant to relieve some confusion and talk a little about my work.

So like I said in my "about me" blog, I am an aspiring author. Though it's what I would like to do with my life I've been having a hard time getting anything done due to a combination of writer's block and being busy with school work.

Anywho the addition to my banner is the names of my other works, most off which only have a title and a few sentences written down.

The titles are as follow (with each will be a quick 1-4 sentence summary).

- Cold Fire: A story of betrayal, adventure, war, vengeance, and redemption. The protagonist of the tale is the slayer (no not Buffy) who has set out to destroy the ultimate evil, Shaft the lord of the underworld. This in a way a combination of some of my favorite movies, books, and games including God of War, Lord of The Rings, 300, and Harry Potter.

- Space wars: The written version of one of my long and deepest drawn series. Space Wars takes place far in the future in a galaxy at war (no surprises there). The story is told from the perspective of many different characters on the side of many different factions and of many different species.

- 12:21: This story is also told through the perspective of many different characters. The story takes place over the span of one afternoon. The setting is a massive bank in Washington DC and the plot is all centered around a horrible terrorist attack and a conspiracy that could change an entire nation.

- Paranormal World: Even since I was a child I was fascinated with the paranormal and having had many odd occurrences myself I have decided to construct an encyclopedia detailing some of the world's most famous paranormal creatures and phenomena.

- A Walk In A Dead Man's Shoes & Other Stories To Shock and Amaze: This is going to be collection of short stories. Some of these stories will be more in the nature of horror others will be suspense/mystery and I even have plans for one or two little hearted comedic stories.

- After Dark: Taking place about 50 years from now After Dark is a story of a world (our world) gone completely insane. After over 20 years of war ending in the launch of over 20 nuclear warheads the nation of Earth have crumbled. The term "after dark" references the fact that after dark the mutated citizens and genetically altered monsters of the war known as "the new" come out looking for food. I know it's a played out plot, but my hope is that the shear horror of the detailed world I am trying to create will make After dark stand out.
