I think it's pointless because unless they modify it so it requires a password or something to toggle the gore and language the kids will be able to turn everything back on. If a kid can play Gears they can go to the options menu and press the "filter off" button.

I rented it back when it first came out and really enjoyed it. I've thought about buying it since it's so cheap now but I just haven't gotten around to it (also money is tight).

Well one thing I noticed reading your post is that you seem to have a fear of being attacked or touching the zombies. You ran away from the zombies at the entrance you were supposed to use and during 90% of your post were talking about running away from zombies.

Second thing is you need to learn to find weapons because very seldom do you need to fight with your fists.

The last thing is trust the arrow. It may occasionally get lost and you may occasionally have to wonder off course in order to follow it but in most cases the arrow knows best.

The next thing is that the game gets better and easier the longer you play. You will gain experience and find new weapons by exploring so if you want spend your first 72 hour mode just exploring and leveling up then spend your next playthrough doing missions and learning the story.

The last thing is you need to learn to save often.

There haven't been many good games yet this year.

The popular vote is gonna be GTA4, but since I haven't played it yet I'll go with one of the few the '08 game I have played which is Alone in The Dark.

I traded in 4 games once. I can't remember all of the games but three of them were: Tak and the Power of Ju Ju, Spyro: Year of the Dragonfly, and a Crash Bandicoot games they were all for the PS2 and they were all really bad games.

I didn't mind trading those in except that I only got $10.

I don't trade games anymore because I'm very careful about the game I buy so I like all of my games.

I'm thinking about pre-ordering it today.

I havent played the demo (don't have xbl), but I've been interested in this game ever since I first saw it (about two years ago).

The only bad things I've head about it is controls and camera. Neither of these problems bother me because I've never had a game that I had a really hard time getting used to controls (I didn't have a problem with the controls in Alone in The Dark) and I've heard people (including X-Play which I used to really respect for their reviews) complain about the camera in games that I have never noticed an "evil" camera in.

Right now I'm really excited for Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears 2, Mercenaries 2, and most of all Too Human (which I think I might pre-order today).
