Get PS3, TLOU and PS+. You'll get more than your money's worth. If getting a PS4 at launch is a priority, then I'd say just get that. But most of the games on PS4 are also coming to PS3/360, so you can play them all on PS3 as well. I'm waiting a few months before buying a PS4 simply because there are so many awesome games coming to PS3 this year. TLOU, Rain, Beyond and GT6.

Now that Sony purchased Gaikai, I think we can expect some kind of streaming system for playing PS3 and other older platform titles. Because including it as a part of the hardware will make it more expensive.
looks like BS.. tying games to PSN account??? people would just run away...but BC is highly doubtful. What with the over complicated Cell architecture in the PS3, I doubt BC will be there in PS4
LOL at the fact that they've specified the cooling regions in the mock up. Like they want to reassure people that there will be no RROD. But simply calling it Xbox would be stupid. And god damn MS if they include Kinect in-built.
Gears always tends to sell better simply because it has the better multiplayer. Uncharted multiplayer is great, no doubt, but just not as much as Gears.
Of course, with the yellow light of death destroying almost every launch PS3, everyone will have 4-5 PS3 by now

You must have been a victim of the RROD plague to be so frustrated. Also, I'm really happy this happened. Plus, with the games lineup Sony has in 2013 for PS3, we can safely bet that PS3 will outsell or catch up to the 360 by end of next year.
Can't really decide Killzone is the overall more realistic shooter with lame story but Resistance has awesome weapons and a great narrative. Gameplay Wise: Killzone wins.
