@stealthy1: I've been gaming since the early 80's and I don't recall every game but I do know that we got lots more content back in the day without Companies asking for $ during every game.

I remember sinking hundreds of hours into the Ultima series games. Now, I know the internet and MP has changed everything. But they charge 3 different prices for games : Base, Deluxe, Ultimate or something + season pass and then in-game transactions??? No thanks.

Just bloody greedy. EA basically has made gambling legal for minors with their sports franchises.
