which version of ps3 do i need to buy if i want to be able to play ps2 games ?

and when would be a good time to buy it ?

i have a 360 and a wii and and now looking into getting a ps3

the 360 has major hardware flaws i have seen it mentioned that the failure rate is around %30

i personally know 15 people with a 360 and everyone of them have had thiers die to me that makes it 100% failure rate

all you need to do is goto the xbox.com offical company forums and you will see over half the posts there are about faulty consoles.

if you buy a 360 it will break im on my 6th as they dont give you a new console they send you a referbushed

so if you really like getting boxes from ups then the 360 is the way to go , the ups truck will be infront of your house about every other month

now if your lookng into getting a wii , those things never break

from what i remember twillight princess was done for the gamecube and they held it back so it could be on the wii

meaning that they have been working on zelda for the wii since at least 2006 .

i would guess that if they have shown it at e3 it would have over shadowed wii music and motion

but id bet that they could have shown something now and if console sales were to slow down a zelda trailer would pop out

or at least at the next big event. even though console sales are good for nintendo its still a business and they want to win, come christmas we should hear more or see something

then 5-10 years after that the next big thing meaning a new console again

so if you take the short end of that you would have 2 consoles in the next 10 years

so you would be buying new consoles every 5 years

now with the wii still unable to supply demand i could see them trying to push it the the longer part of the 5-10 year span

but if the other consoles are getting left out of the race then may shorten it and nintendo would have to keep pace

b4 e3 some sites were already theorizing that microsoft was gonna announce xbox 720
