So I just beat Windwaker. That was the only console zelda game I had never beaten. So I will procede to rate all of the console zelda's, from best to worst. I have considered gameplay, graphics, how revolutionary the game was for its time, replayability etc.

#1. Ocarina of time - One of the best games of all time. Extremely revolutionary, great graphics (for its time) and excellent replayability.

#2. A Link to the Past - Excellent game, one of my favorites. Very in depth and innovative for its time. Has stood the test of time well.

#3. Twilight Princess - Great game, I consider it similar to OoT just with better graphics. Good story

#4. The Adventure of Link - Probably the hardest of all the Zelda's. Doesnt get much love, but I really like this game. I have beaten it probably 4 times or so.

#5. Windwaker - Good game. Broke the mold of the traditional land based zelda's. I liked the cell shading graphics, but did not like having to sail around on a ton of water and have to find the fish and give it food for a map of the island. Great ending.

#6. Majora's Mask - I did not like the time constaint of 3 days, but the game has good replayability and tons of side quests. I imagine it is nearly impossible to beat 100% without any walkthroughs as there are so many sidequests.

#7. The Legend of Zelda - The game that started it all. There wasnt much substance or story, or any clues telling you about where to go or what to do next, but the game is still very good.

NSMBW is all I bought. The last game I bought before that was Mario Kart Wii.

I have both OoT and MM on VC. OoT is one of the best games of all time. While MM is a little different and has a unique time system, it is also great. Definitely worth the money. I use the classic controller for playing them.

OoT should take around 40 hours, MM about 30 (i do alot of exploring).

Is there any way to use codes on the wii versions, like infinite health?

I used that on the ps1 version with my gameshark way back in the day.

agreed with topic starter. Zelda 2 is awesome. Very hard but the game is one of the best.

Who is the genius who thought of the idea not to include classic controller support? Seriously...

Playing with the wiimote turned sideways gets uncomfortable after a while.
