Since we have to buy an adapter to transfer old PS2 game saves over to the PS3 I was thinking of buying it, then sellling it on ebay after I'm done, because it will be useless after the data is transfered. Now I'm thinking of just using it then returning it to the store. Anybody else do this? I figure I'll buy it at wal-mart cause they wont care why I'm returning it, but a place like EB would probably think I used it now I just want the money back.
Sounds like a good deal, but I tried that and it turned out hardly any of my games were actually worth $8. They weren't even that old either. It just so happened the majority of them were worth $6-7 so it didn't count. Imagine that.
I just got my PS3 today and I've had it running for about an hour and I'm downloading some demos. I touched the lower right side of the console and I noticed it was quite warm. Is that normal?

Well, seeing as there won't be a price drop anytime soon, you might as well get it now so you can enjoy it earlier. no point in delaying the purchase if you are intent on buying one anyways.
There's little difference between the 2 systems anyway.

I wouldnt trade my ps2 in for a ps3 if that's what you were thinking.. atleast not if you want to play your old ps2 games.. first of all, the ps3 isnt compatible with all ps2 games yet, and afaik, you can't save your status on ps2 games on the ps3...(correct me if I'm wrong)ejstrup
Well thats what I was thinking. Although the only games I wanna keep are GOW and GOW2. I thought you could save status onto the hardrive.
