[QUOTE="trix5817"][QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"]^ my opinion has officially changed. lol
If you are going to build a new PC soon, you should definently go with the C2D's. They outperform all their counterpart AMD's by A LOT. And they are easy to OC like crazy. I got my E6400 up to 3.0ghz. Now it's comparable to a FX-62! Comparable. What? a e6400 at that speed is way faster that an FX62. a e6600 at 2.4ghz outperforms an FX62 and yours is at 3.0ghz. Your CPU at that speed is faster than a e6800 extreme, even with only 2mb of cache, also your FSB is now pretty fast. PS. I got mine to 3.2ghz.
I think that MS has done something good, Vista is the first truely gamer oriented OS. It eliminates a couple of bottlenecks, like texture memory, better drivers. I also heard that DX9 hardware running on vista gets a performance boost too.
dude you have no crap on your table, I can never have all my stuff that neat. Man, I wish I had a 8800GTX, maybe I'll get a 8900GT or something like that.
It doesn't look like much, but the specs are pretty decent C2D e6400 oc 3.2 GHZ ASUS P5B mobo 2GB DDR2 800 oced to 4-4-4-12 G.Skill Geforce 7900GT 530/1500 later i will voltmod to 1.3 and hope to get 600/1600 200GB HDD DVD burner AF 7 Pro Logitek speakers Sony 17" flat screen CRT moniter.
